The “termometro” (thermometer) of hostile language in politics has also been used to monitor one of the most controversial areas for the use of hostile language. Through an opinion poll carried out for us by IPSOS, the hostility perceived by people in the language of politicians was analysed. The verbal hostility online was perceived as a real social problem, especially among the youngest.
